Patient care, safety, and privacy are the top priorities for MBC. Following an internal review in July 2024, Dr. Louisiana Valenzuela is no longer affiliated with Mexico Bariatric Center. Furthermore, Mexican authorities are currently conducting a formal investigation into potential breaches of patient confidentiality by Dr. Valenzuela – Case number 0204-2024-32751. Mexico Bariatric Center is fully participating in that investigation and considering legal action against Dr. Valenzuela and her husband, Luis, regarding copyright issues and false advertising.
